Simply Solar has now developed a sensor based electronic tracking system for single parabolic troughs. The features include permanent tracking of the sun as well as automatic parking-position at night or under bad weather conditions. The system was installed for the first time in July 2011 in Austria for tracking a smirro 300 trough of 10m length. The mechanical components of the tracker come from Simply Solar, too.
